More than writing, I find joy in facilitating workshops and collaborating on events that centre critical reflection, collective unlearning, and stepping outside of secularism. In the past my talks and workshops have explored themes such as colonialism, Islamophobia, race, safety, memory, and imagination — all through a lens grounded in justice, care, and faith. 

These range from writing workshops to educative teach-ins, lectures, panel discussions and TED talks nationally and internationally. Whether working with students, educators, community organisers, artists, or institutions, I aim to create spaces of trust and honesty, inviting participants to question inherited assumptions and reimagine our place in the world. 

My approach is dialogical and participatory, using poetry, storytelling, and discussion to spark deeper inquiry and offer tools for resisting structural violence while holding onto hope, intentionality and remembrance of the sacred.
